Sarah Cork

Sarah Cork is founder and CEO of social marketing consultancy and training provider, Brilliant Futures, combining social marketing and behavioural science to encourage and enable positive health, social and environmental behaviours.

As an experienced trainer and facilitator, Sarah has worked with over 3000 individuals from national and local public, private and voluntary
sector organisations from strategic meetings to world conference presentations and practical, interactive workshops and blended learning programmes. Sarah is an accredited trainer and facilitator with the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Her projects have included tackling a range of public health issues including smoking in pregnancy, mental and emotional wellbeing, healthy eating, physical activity, vaccination uptake, sunbed usage, binge drinking and wider issues including road safety, sustainable transport, increasing access to employment and reducing social isolation in older people.

Sarah is also the School of Business and Law Learning and Teaching Lead and a Senior Lecturer in Social Purpose & Social Marketing, Consumer Psychology and Marketing Ethics and Social Responsibility at the University of Brighton and leads the teaching of social marketing at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Her research focuses on bringing together the public, private and third sector to make positive lifestyle behaviours more easy, attractive, affordable and socially normal.

Sarah has worked closely with iPiP over many years including teaching on the public health development project, undertaking insight gathering for various projects and delivering the facilitate this! workshops. Currently she is working with iPiP developing a practical resource for young children to develop habits for emotional and mental health wellbeing an resilience.
