Home / iPiP Health / IPPCO Study

We are carrying out a study to find out about the potential danger of Carbon Monoxide (CO) in pregnant women’s homes.  This study is being undertaken with the local fire and rescue service who will visit the home to identify any risks of exposure to Carbon Monoxide and to measure the current levels in the home.  This study is to understand how pregnant women and their unborn babies can be better protected and it will influence how care and support is provided in the future.

You can take part in the study if you are:

  • Pregnant
  • Over 18
  • Living in rented accommodation
  • Have gas/oil/or solid fuel heating or a gas cooker
